COMPUTER ETHIC

ETHICS :
1. Computer can use for both good and bad intentions 2.

2.The standards that determine whether an action is good or bad are known as ethics

TEN COMMANDMENTS OF COMPUTER ETHIC

1) You should not use a computer to harm other people

2) You should not interfere with other people's computer work

3) You should not snoop around in other people's files

4) You should not use a computer to steal

5) You should not use a computer to bear false witness

6) You should not use or copy software for which you have not paid

7) You should not use other people's computer resources without authorization

9) You should think about the social consequences of the program you write

10) You should use a computer in ways that show consideration and respect


UNETHICAL IN USING COMPUTER

1.Use any computer account other than the one assigned to you.

2.Copy, distribute or remove copies of software from any computer.

3.Use computers inappropriately.

4.Modify data not specifically assigned to or created by the modifier.

5.Destroy data or property that is not owned by the destroyer

6.Use another persons programs or data without their permission.

7.Send or make available for viewing obscene.

8.Abuse or improperly use hardware or public software.

9.Commit any other act that is irresponsible or infringes upon the rights of others.

10.Upload and download unauthorized files or software (including viruses).
